Job Summary:

The Reservation & Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing revenue and occupancy by managing reservations, setting pricing strategies, and analyzing market trends. This role involves maximizing room sales through effective inventory control, demand forecasting, and dynamic pricing strategies while ensuring excellent guest experience during the reservation process.

Key Responsibilities:Revenue Management:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry best practices to adjust rates accordingly.
  • Manage online distribution channels (OTA, GDS, brand website) and ensure rate parity.
  • Analyze booking patterns, demand forecasts, and market conditions to adjust pricing in real time.
  • Prepare and present revenue reports, forecasting, and financial analysis to senior management.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to implement promotional strategies.

Reservations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department.
  • Ensure accurate room allocations, special requests, and group reservations are handled efficiently.
  • Maintain and improve the hotel’s reservations system, including training staff on best practices.
  • Develop guest communication standards to enhance the booking experience.
  • Collaborate with the front office and sales teams to optimize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

Distribution & Channel Management:

  • Manage relationships with OTAs, wholesalers, and corporate accounts.
  • Ensure all booking channels are updated with accurate availability, pricing, and policies.
  • Optimize hotel inventory distribution across multiple platforms.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track and analyze revenue performance, market demand, and booking trends.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports on key revenue metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for revenue growth opportunities based on data insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue management or reservations in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and channel management tools.
  • Knowledge of OTA extranets, GDS, and digital distribution strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of hotel operations and pricing strategies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
