Position Summary
The Program Management Office (PMO) roles is to standardise project management practices, ensure governance, and optimise resource allocation across MABES. Its objectives include establishing and tracking MABE project/initiatives timelines and milestone. The PMO provides critical support by monitoring projects and facilitating decision-making by providing access to all parties involved. PMO is limited by its advisory role, as it does not typically control project budgets or resources directly. Challenges such as organisational resistance to change and resource limitations can affect its effectiveness, but overall, the PMO serves to enhance organisational efficiency and alignment with strategic goals through structured oversight and continuous improvement efforts.
Main Responsibilities

Specific Functions
- Managing a team in developing and maintaining project management methodologies and standards, optimizing resource allocation, managing risks.
- Responsible for accurate reporting to stakeholders, providing guidance and support to project teams, and fostering effective communication across all levels of the organization.
- Driving project success by promoting efficiency, adherence to standards, and strategic alignment, thereby contributing significantly to organisational growth and achievement of goals.
- The focal point for MABES Annual Strategic Review (ASR) and Annual Budget Planning (ABP), reviewing and compiling submission from all Division in MABES before submission to GEXCO/BOD.
Qualification & Experience
- Degree or Professional qualification (Engineering / Business / Accounting) from
- recognized higher institutions or its equivalent with at least 5 years working
- experience; or
- Possess AME License and/or MAS Approval with 6 years working experience in engineering and maintenance.
Areas of Experience
