We have an Immediate Openings Intercompany Accounting Analyst with our reputed Client.

Work Location: KL

Exp: 2+ years

Essential Responsibilities:

Ø Performing month-end closing activities to ensure recording of journal entries and to meet business deadlines and requirements

Ø Working with the Intercompany Receivables, Payables invoices, , purchase orders and reconciliation of Intercompany invoices

Ø Preparing, posting and running reports to share information required for month-end reports and deadlines

Ø Identifying and solving backlog issues to ensure daily tasks are completed on-time.

Ø Providing monthly, quarterly, financial data and reviews to share with internal finance teams and to support internal auditing

Ø Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support and guidance for financial activities.

Ø Supporting Internal and External Audit deliverables including review and approve assigned reconciliations, driving resolution of open items and unreconciled accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Ø Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent

Ø 2-5 years of experience dealing in financial accounting

Ø Possess strong analytical skills with proactive mindset, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team

Ø Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English

Ø Ability to work both alone and as part of a diverse cultural team

Ø Be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Excel and Outlook

Desired Characteristics:

Ø ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage

Ø Experience in Shared Service will be added advantage

Ø A proven ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and to build and maintain network within and outside Payroll Accounting

Ø Possess positive thinking and attitude, professionalism, takes ownership of and accountability of the work product.

Ø Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Ø Team-player and customer-centric attitude

Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ø Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting software, knowledge in SAP or Oracle will be added advantage
