The Store assistant will be responsible for the efficient management and organization of stock in the store. This role involves overseeing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, and maintaining the storage area in an orderly manner. The Store Keeper will also support the team by ensuring timely and accurate stock deliveries and managing the overall stock flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and reorder products when necessary.
- Stock Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage. Record all stock movements in the inventory system.
- Storage Organization: Ensure products are stored in an organized and easily accessible manner, following safety and storage guidelines.
- Stock Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Report discrepancies or issues to the management team.
- Product Handling: Ensure that products are handled carefully to avoid damage. Assist in the movement of large or heavy items as needed.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure the store/warehouse is clean, safe, and organized. Follow safety procedures for the handling and storage of stock.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation and timely stock replenishment.
