About the role

HCL Technologies Malaysia SDN BHD' is seeking a skilled and experienced Middleware Administrator to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. As a Middleware Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our middleware infrastructure, supporting the company's mission-critical applications and services.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide Level 2 & Level 3 support for application maintenance and production environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and work on permanent fixes.
  • Support Oracle and MySQL database operations, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for system automation, log analysis, and monitoring.
  • Handle deployment and configuration management activities for middleware applications.
  • Work with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless release management and deployment processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support and respond to high-priority incidents.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track system health and performance.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, incident resolutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in system patching, upgrades, and security compliance to maintain a stable environment.
  • Improve and automate manual processes to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.

What we're looking for
