  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disaster Recovery Planning:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and establish recovery objectives.
  • Testing & Maintenance:
  • Design and coordinate regular disaster recovery drills and exercises to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Continuously review and update disaster recovery plans to reflect changes in technology, business processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to align disaster recovery strategies with business goals.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to integrate security measures into disaster recovery planning.
  • Documentation & Training:
  • Create detailed documentation of disaster recovery processes and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff on disaster recovery protocols and best practices.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor disaster recovery readiness and report on metrics, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and technologies related to disaster recovery and business continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT disaster recovery or business continuity planning, preferably within an insurtech or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of disaster recovery frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, NIST, ISO 22301, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, server architectures, and virtualization technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), IT Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) certification) are highly regarded.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
