About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented and creative Video Editor/Content Creator/Videographer to join us! If you're passionate about storytelling through video, have a sharp eye for visual trends, and love crafting engaging digital content — we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).
  • Create short-form and long-form video content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals or client projects.
  • Edit footage after recording. Repurpose existing footage into fresh, engaging content.
  • Add motion graphics, subtitles, and special effects when necessary.
  • Ensure all video and content output is on-brand, high quality, and delivered on time.
  • Providing recommendations on video production equipment, software and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our video assets.
  • Stay up to date on the latest content trends, video production techniques, social media formats, and industry best practices to enhance audience engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Film, Multimedia, Design, Communications or related field.
  • Prefer 2-3 years’ experience as a video editor, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and content creation.
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Experience with content creation for social media platforms.
  • Strong creative skills with a keen eye for visual storytelling and design aesthetics.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) are a plus.
  • Understanding of graphic design and photo editing.
  • Passion for creating and editing video content.
  • Excellent self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Familiar with filming equipment and lighting setup is an advantage.
  • Required Languages: English and Mandarin. Fluency in Mandarin is required due to business needs.
