EVENT MANAGER – AGRICULTURAL & LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY
Location: Solaris, Mont Kiara (with travel to Banting Farm & across Peninsular Malaysia)

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of our upcoming carnival and other agricultural events. If you have a passion for event management, experience handling livestock-related events, and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Event Planning & Strategy: Develop event concepts that align with business goals and engage stakeholders, buyers, and the public.
- Venue & Logistics Management: Identify suitable venues with proper livestock facilities, including stalls, arenas, and biosecurity measures.
- Operational Execution: Manage timelines, budgets, and logistics, including transportation, housing, feeding, and veterinary care for animals.
- Marketing & Promotion: Develop targeted event marketing strategies to attract participants, buyers, and the broader livestock community.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, vendors, livestock associations, and regulatory authorities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Secure permits, ensure adherence to animal welfare and biosecurity protocols, and oversee waste management.
- On-Site Management: Supervise event setup, coordinate with staff/volunteers, and troubleshoot issues, including animal-related emergencies.
- Post-Event Review: Conduct evaluations, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future events.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Agricultural Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in event planning & execution, ideally with livestock or agricultural events.
- Proven track record in handling large-scale events with livestock handling experience.
- Strong budgeting, negotiation, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Knowledge of animal welfare regulations & biosecurity protocols.
- Proficiency in event management software & Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends, as required.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
