Job Summary
We are looking for Learning & Development & Employee Engagement Specialist to execute training programs, support employee engagement initiatives, and assist with HR-related tasks.
This role will be responsible for organizing and conducting training, managing HRDF claims, and driving engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate should be proactive, hands-on, and capable of handling both learning and development (L&D) and employee engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning & Development (L&D) Responsibilities
- Organize and conduct company’s training programs.
- Work with department heads to identify, assign, and track employee training.
- Source and coordinate external training programs when needed.
- Manage HRDF claims and ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Assist in developing learning materials, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Maintain training records and generate reports for management.
- Support initiatives to embed company core values into daily operations.
Training Administration & HR Support
- Monitor training completion and follow up with employees/managers.
- Assist in developing career development frameworks and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Support performance management initiatives by coordinating development plans.
Track training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Employee Engagement & Culture Development
- Provide support to the Employee Engagement team in organizing engagement activities when required.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities.
- Conduct pulse surveys and analyze employee feedback.
- Assist in onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company culture.
HR Generalist & Operations Support
- Assist in communications of HR policies and handbooks, Code of Conduct etc.
- Support the performance management process by training managers and tracking employee development.
- Assist in exit interviews and analyzing employee retention trends.
- Help implement mentorship programs and career development frameworks.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, or HR-related roles.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience with HRDF claims and training administration is a plus.
- Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and workplace culture development.
- Ability to multitask and work proactively on HR and L&D initiatives.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, adapt to changes, and take initiative.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
