Job Summary

The main objective of this role is to coordinate, plan, and support sustainability reporting and decarbonization efforts for IGB Berhad, ensuring the achievement of its short- and long-term targets.

Job Descriptions


  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and programmes in line with corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Coordinate sustainability awareness programs, workshops, and campaigns.
  • Assist in preparing sustainability reports, including compliance with [specific standards, e.g., National Sustainability Reporting Framework, GRI, IFRS].
  • Analysis of sustainability risks, opportunities, and trends as well as conducting policy/regulatory analysis.
  • Gap analysis and benchmarking sustainability programs and performance.
  • Support the organisation’s carbon reduction and energy efficiency goals.
  • To execute any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior or any other persons designated by the Company.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sustainability or a related role (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting standards.
  • Proficient in green rating tools and standards in the building management industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact.
