Job Description

As a Business Development Executive in Mobile/Electronics industry, you will play a vital role in driving business growth on field and supporting development activities in retail store. This role combines frontline execution with backend operational support to ensure smooth store operations across retail locations. You will be responsible for visiting stores, training staff, managing data and reports, and handling store queries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Visits & In-Store Support

  • Conduct frequent store visits to engage with store staff and assist in store operations.
  • Provide hands-on support for transactions, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and escalate recurring operational issues to Area Manager.

    2. Training & Staff Engagement

    • Train store staff on procedures, promotions, and customer handling.
    • Reinforce trade-in best practices to ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for frontline staff regarding store queries.

      3. BD Operations & Partner Support

      • Assist in onboarding new partners when necessary and ensuring a smooth integration process.
      • Provide support to BD Manager in daily operations and ad hoc tasks.
      • Update and communicate promotional activities and announcements to relevant stakeholders.

        4. Data & Reporting

        • Maintain and track BD-related data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
        • Prepare and compile weekly and monthly reports for brands, tracking trade-in performance and insights.
        • Organize and keep records of dealer contracts, ensuring timely follow-ups and completion.
        • Serve as the PIC for managing the ROS database and creating accounts.

          5. Market Insights

          • Gather feedback from store staff to improve store operation.
          • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience.

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma or above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude with strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Basic data management, tracking, and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to converse in English, Malay & Mandarin is required.
  • Ability to travel frequently as required by business needs.
