The Person
- Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1 – 8 years of working experience in Human Resources with exposure to performance and rewards initiatives.
- Proven experience in successfully driving compensation and benefits initiatives.
The Job
Performance Management
- Support the execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Collaborate with the respective stakeholder to provide guidance on performance evaluation criteria and best practices.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist in the design and delivery of training programs that promote a high-performance culture.
Rewards Management
- Assist in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market standards.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of compensation packages.
- Support the annual salary review and bonus processes, including data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR teams to communicate rewards programs and ensure employees understand their entitlements.
- Support the administration of flexible benefits and other compensation-related services, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Assist to obtain market-based pay benchmarking, gathering data and assisting in the analysis to maintain competitiveness.
HR Support & Collaboration
- Provide assistance and support to UMW Division teams and stakeholders on Performance and Rewards matters, as guided by management.
- Assist in implementing related policies, procedures, and systems within the Performance & Rewards function, ensuring alignment with UMW Division and SDB guidelines.
- Support the organisation and facilitation of Performance and Rewards-related initiatives, such as KPI creation workshops and assisting in managing challenging conversations.
- Contribute to the preparation of Performance and Rewards reports and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, or ad-hoc basis, ensuring accuracy and providing data for strategic decision-making.
Financial Management
- Assist in managing the Performance & Rewards team’s budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, ensuring expenditures remain within the approved annual budget.
Leadership & People Development
- Foster self-leadership by taking ownership of personal development, setting goals, and consistently seeking opportunities for growth.
