  • Hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting and automation.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.

About the role

As a Technical Delivery Manager - Service Build Engineering at HCL Technologies Malaysia SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of software engineering projects. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this full-time position will see you leading a team of talented engineers to ensure the efficient development and deployment of innovative digital solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the delivery of service build engineering projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage the end-to-end software build, deployment, and integration processes across multiple environments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on RHEL, JBoss, Weblogic, MQ, Kafka, and related middleware solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and support teams, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Implement best practices for database administration, ensuring efficient utilization of Oracle and MySQL databases.
  • Develop and enforce coding, testing, and deployment standards to improve software quality and maintainability.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines are optimized for efficiency and reliability.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Act as the escalation point for L3-level technical support and problem resolution.
