Job Description:
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Handle daily operations of the accounting and admin department.
- Prepare cheques, payment vouchers, and other assigned tasks.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing to support all accounting records.
- Manage cash inflows and outflows, keeping accurate records.
- Analyze project performance each month.
- Prepare a monthly cash flow forecast for the company.
- Communicate with auditors, tax authorities, bankers, and other institutions.
- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with company procedures.
- Manage the Accounts Receivable section and prepare monthly reports, including Aging Reports.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
- Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.
- Efficient, accurate, and results-driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience with financial software like SAP B1 is a plus.
