Job Summary:

The Senior Executive, Finance (Payment Team) will be responsible for managing financial reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations related to payments. The role involves processing payments, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial performance, and providing insights to support decision-making. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize financial processes and enhance financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing & Financial Reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, staff claims, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and budget performance reports related to payments.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget utilization and provide variance analysis with recommendations for cost control.
  • Accounts Payable Management
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of payment transactions in compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliation and accounts payable.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors during financial audits.
  • Financial Compliance & Internal Control
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards (e.g., MFRS, IFRS).
  • Identify and implement internal control improvements to enhance financial integrity in the payment process.
  • Stakeholder & Process Management
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth payment processing and compliance.
  • Support automation and enhancement of financial reporting processes.
  • Provide financial data and analysis for management and external stakeholders when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
