Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring confidentiality and maintaining high productivity standards within the department. Key duties include managing guest requests, issuing Housekeeping keys, and handling store requisitions and other necessary requests. The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining accurate room status, Lost & Found records, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence. Additional responsibilities include assisting with department coordination, managing documentation and filing, handling telephone calls professionally, and ensuring the cleanliness of the Housekeeping Department. The coordinator will also manage Lost & Found items, assist with guest services, and perform any tasks assigned by the Superior or Management while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Due to visa limitations, only locals will be considered.

The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure confidentiality and high productivity standards in the department.
  • Update and follow up on guest requests, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Issue Housekeeping keys to Service Attendants in the absence of the Superior.
  • Raise store requisitions, collection arrangements, and other required requests (e.g., GAMS, Metabuyers, FLOWER).
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondences.
  • Maintain and update room status/history, Lost & Found, and other department information.
  • Assist with coordination and general tasks within the department.
  • Professionally handle telephone calls and manage documentation.
  • Handle Lost & Found items following proper procedures from receiving to distribution.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by Management/Superior and ensure compliance with hotel regulations.
