JOB SUMMARY The Management Trainee will work closely with the Executive Director to gain hands-onexperience in business expansion, market analysis, and supply chain optimisation. This roleprovides structured training and exposure to high level decision making, equipping thetrainee with the skills to drive growth and enhance supply chain performance. Reports toExecutive Director. Key Duties & Responsibilities 1) Business Development - Assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, andmarket expansion strategies. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business growthinitiatives. - Work on proposals, presentations, and business cases for potential customers orpartners. - Support the execution of strategic business plans, including pricing strategies andcustomer engagement. - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead generation strategies. 2) Supply Chain Management - Assist in supply chain planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. - Analyse supplier performance, cost efficiency, and lead times to optimise operations. - Support process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. - Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination betweenprocurement, warehousing, and distribution. 3) Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work alongside finance, operations, and sales teams to align business and supplychain objectives. - Support initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business performance. 4) Data Analysis & Reporting - Analyse business performance, supply chain metrics, and market trends to provideinsights for decision making. - Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management on key findings and recommendations. 5) Project Management - Take part in special projects assigned by the Executive Director, such as costoptimisation, supplier negotiations, and market expansion. - Undergo structured training and mentorship to develop analytical and problem solving skills. - Gain exposure to strategic decision making and high-level corporate discussions. JOB REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics,Marketing, or a related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. - Proactive, resourceful, and eager to take on new challenges. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business analytics tools will be anadded advantage.
