Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare payment vouchers, execute payments, and post payments and invoices in Xero
- Generate quotations and invoices as requested by departments
- Update Cashbook on a daily basis to maintain accurate financial records
- Collect and organize supporting documents for credit card statements
- Prepare and perform weekly payment runs for tender payments and credit card statements
- Save bank statements and YouBiz statements monthly for record-keeping
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable (AR)
- Prepare weekly AR Ageing reports to track outstanding payments
- Verify sales reports on HubSpot against collection reports for accuracy
- Prepare monthly Dashboard reports, submit for review, and distribute to management
- Assist in document collection and submission to external audit firms
- Serve as backup PIC in managing phone calls and company WhatsApp
- Ensure proper filing and organization of all financial and accounting records
- Perform other finance-related administrative tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fresh graduates with relevant education are welcome to apply
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or financial administration
- Candidate who has experience in using Xero accounting software will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Able to meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Team player who possesses initiative and can multitask.
- Must be independent, resourceful, meticulous, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- The candidate must be residing in Miri, Sarawak, and willing to work in Miri.
