Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
  • Cash Transactions: Record and reconcile cash receipts and payments.
  • Financial Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of full set account, financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks.
  • Communication: Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education:

High school diploma in accounting or equivalent, with some accounting or business courses preferred.

  • Experience:

Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred, but not required.

  • Technical Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software Autocount and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Language Skills:

Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Working Conditions:

  • Office Environment: Primarily works in a standard office environment.
  • Work Hours: Standard business hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work, with occasional lifting and carrying of files and documents.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
