Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets, maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment.
- Cash Transactions: Record and reconcile cash receipts and payments.
- Financial Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of full set account, financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other relevant documents.
- Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of financial data and reconcile discrepancies.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks.
- Communication: Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
High school diploma in accounting or equivalent, with some accounting or business courses preferred.
- Experience:
Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred, but not required.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software Autocount and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Language Skills:
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
Working Conditions:
- Office Environment: Primarily works in a standard office environment.
- Work Hours: Standard business hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work, with occasional lifting and carrying of files and documents.
