Job Summary:
Geno Hotel is looking for a skilled and dedicated Demi Chef – Butchery to join our culinary team! If you have expertise in meat preparation, portioning, and ensuring top-quality cuts, this role is perfect for you. You will be responsible for handling, preparing, and storing meats, poultry, and seafood while maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion meat, poultry, and seafood according to menu requirements.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and proper storage of all proteins.
- Maintain butchery tools and workstations in a clean and safe condition.
- Work closely with the culinary team to fulfill kitchen needs.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in butchery or meat preparation (hotel/restaurant preferred).
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of different cuts of meat.
- Understanding of food safety & proper storage techniques.
Job Type: Full-time
