Store Manager - Fashion & Retail (Sunway Pyramid)
Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership and People Management
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture by embracing and celebrating diverse perspectives, ensuring a supportive and engaging experience for all team members and guests.
- Build and maintain a strong, diverse team with varied experiences, backgrounds, and skill sets to enhance store operations.
- Promote continuous learning and development for team members (Educators and Key Leaders) through consistent and fair feedback, coaching, mentoring, career guidance, and addressing performance issues.
- Assist in the store’s recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes.
- Encourage career conversations to help team members understand how the work culture contributes to both their professional and personal growth.
- Provide recognition, performance assessments, and documentation to support career development and personal growth.
- Work with management to organize and plan team member schedules, taking into account labor needs, availability, and budgetary constraints.
- Operations
- Execute the store leader’s vision and effectively communicate it to the team.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager to oversee the store's budget, labor hours, expenses, and P&L statement.
- Provide leadership on the sales floor by planning coverage and making decisions to ensure smooth and efficient sales floor operations.
- Open and close the store following the established opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Carry out tasks in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and applicable laws or regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Able to speak and write in Mandarin (COMPULSORY)
- Minimum of 3 - 8 years of experience in a retail leadership role.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to make timely, informed decisions to support efficient store operations.
- Proven track record of managing teams and driving store performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
