F&B Attendant
Providing and serving guests in a courteous and prompt manner to ensure great guest satisfaction performs food and beverage service and set-up according to established standard, coordinates and executes daily work assignments as assigned by Managers / Supervisor.
Ability to offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Hilton Garden Inn standards of excellence quality, professionalism and friendliness. Ability to anticipate service of guest, requirements before request is necessary.
· Offer guest at the outlet an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Hilton standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
· Anticipate and service of guests' requirements before requests if necessary.
· Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.
· Familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriates garnishes.
· Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard.
· Present menus and explanations for all menu items as well as specials of the day.
· Present children's menus, when appropriate, and describe specials and alternative Cuisine.
· Utilize the hotel's computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
· To carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver.
· Change ashtrays; serve cigarettes, crumb tables and offer additional beverages and cigars.
· Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem, which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.
· Inform supervisor or nearest manager if the guest attempts to walk out and try to calm the guest in the same process.
· Service all needs for private dining room or private function.
· Report any accident or guest complaint immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager.
· Recognize and address potential disruptive or undesirable guests and respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
· Ability to move tables and chairs and breakdown any buffets, displays or side stations when needed
· Clean service area when needed.
· Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
· Retrieve and stock all linen, china, silver, glassware and food and beverage items.
· Provide unobtrusive and professional service.
· Serve a dish to guests while explaining the contents and preparation.
· Provide water, bread and butter service throughout the meal to guests.
· Offer coffee or tea and serve any request according to Hilton standards.
· Report for duty 10 minutes before the scheduled time, clean and tidy wearing the correct uniform.
· Ability to carry trays properly and safely as well as break them down.
· Clear tables and reset them for specific number of persons.
· Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
· Needs to sweep/vacuum the floor before a shift if needed.
· Attends all the training subjects to the service staff and follows all rules and policies of the hotel
· Be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel in response to business and client needs
· Handle cash and credit card procedures according to the guidelines of the accounting department
· Ability to multi-skill in other departments within the hotel and may be scheduled to assist in other hotel service areas i.e. Front Office, Housekeeping or Security
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Education:
- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Required)
Experience:
- Budget Control: 1 year (Preferred)
- F&B Management: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Food Handling (Preferred)
