Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and uphold hygiene and infection control standards.
• Educate and reassure patients before, during, and after treatments to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide chairside assistance, including passing instruments and supporting suctioning.
• Prepare dental materials such as impressions, cements, and fillings.
• Advise patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices.
• Monitor and replenish dental supplies to ensure continuous clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Dental Nursing, Dental Assisting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a dental clinic is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with dental software and appointment scheduling systems is a plus.
• Professional, team-oriented, and detail-focused work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
