Job Responsibilities: 1. Lead and provide technical direction for the entire paper mill operation, including raw material processing, pulp preparation, paper forming, drying, and finishing processes. 2. Develop, implement, and continuously improve production processes, work procedures, and technical standards to achieve operational excellence. 3. Analyze root causes of production defects, equipment failure, and process bottlenecks; formulate and implement corrective actions. 4. Support the plant management team in strategic technical decisions, including new machine acquisition, process automation, and technology upgrades. 5. Lead technical audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations. 6. Evaluate, select, and implement new materials, chemicals, and additives that can improve product quality and production efficiency. 7. Design and implement energy-saving and waste reduction initiatives, focusing on environmental sustainability and cost optimization. 8. Train, mentor, and develop technical staff, engineers, and operators to build a strong, competent, and highly skilled technical team. 9. Implement and monitor key technical performance indicators (KPIs), including machine uptime, yield rate, energy usage, and product quality. 10. Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and global best practices in paper manufacturing, and provide recommendations to management. Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or any related field. - Minimum 5–10 years of working experience in paper mill production or technical management. - Strong knowledge of paper manufacturing processes, pulp handling, machine operation, and maintenance. - Hands-on experience in production troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and process optimization. - Ability to lead technical training and support the continuous development of the technical team. - Willing to work on-site at the production plant.
