LOGISTIC SUPERVISOR

Logistics & Transportation Management • Oversee and coordinate the transportation of materials, equipment, and goods to project sites. • Plan and optimize delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation. • Manage and monitor fleet operations, ensuring vehicles and equipment are well-maintained. • Ensure all logistics activities comply with local transportation laws and company policies. Inventory & Warehouse Management • Supervise inventory control to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse operations. • Maintain proper documentation for inbound and outbound goods. • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies. • Implement best practices for storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Team Supervision & Coordination • Lead and supervise logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse personnel. • Assign tasks and monitor daily logistics operations to ensure efficiency. • Conduct training sessions on safety, proper handling of goods, and operational procedures. • Foster effective communication between warehouse, transportation, and project teams. Safety & Compliance • Ensure all logistics operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies. • Conduct regular inspections to identify risks and implement necessary improvements. • Develop and enforce safety protocols for transportation and warehouse activities. Reporting & Documentation • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory movements. • Prepare reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and operational efficiency. • Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and recommend solutions. Requirements: Additional knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards will be an added advantage.
