Machinery and Logistics Manager

Machinery Management: • Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and operational efficiency of heavy machinery and equipment. • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize performance. • Ensure all machinery and equipment comply with industry regulations and safety standards. • Monitor usage, fuel consumption, and overall performance to optimize cost-efficiency. • Work closely with operators to ensure proper handling and maintenance of equipment. Logistics & Transportation: • Plan and coordinate the transportation of machinery, materials, and goods to various project sites. • Optimize routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs. • Manage inventory levels and ensure proper documentation for inbound and outbound logistics. • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and transport service providers for efficient logistics operations. • Ensure compliance with local transportation laws and regulations. Operational & Team Management: • Lead and supervise a team of machine operators, drivers, and logistics personnel. • Conduct training sessions on equipment handling, safety procedures, and best practices. • Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and operational efficiency. • Prepare reports on machinery performance, transportation efficiency, and logistics operations. Safety & Compliance: • Ensure all machinery operations and logistics activities comply with workplace safety regulations. • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify risks and areas for improvement. • Implement safety training programs for staff involved in machinery and logistics operations. Requirements: Additional knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards will be an added advantage.
