Construction Engineer (CIVIL)

• To lead a group of PMT construction inspection team for the respective packages. • Review and evaluate engineering designs for Constructability and provide recommendations for improvement. • Review the EPC Contractor’s construction plans and procedures and identify improvements to enhance project execution effectiveness. • Monitor and verify construction plan and procedures for execution as per requirements and objectives. • Supervise, monitor and verify construction methodologies during the construction execution for a successful project implementation. • Monitor and verify Contractors performance on a timely basis to ensure compliance to project requirements and provide updates to management including recommendations where necessary. • Assess schedule performance and work progress and propose recovery plan if required. • Assist HSE Officer to monitor Contractors safety programme to ensure compliance to the HSE policies and guidelines. • Coordinate compliances with regulatory authorities and ensuring that regulatory approvals are obtained in a timely fashion. • Review verify and control construction changes to minimize variation order. • Coordinate and interface with all relevant parties to ensure successful completion of overall construction activities and punch-listing for final acceptance. • Develop construction close-out report incorporating lesson learnt and recommendations for future references. • Performing any other duties as and when required by Company and Clients.
