Graduate Planner

Graduate planner generally has 3 years working experience and he or she works closely with Directors and Senior/Project Planner to develop detail design from conceptual and preliminary schematic design proposal up to design development stage for authorities submission and to ensure that proposed building designs meets the necessary standards and complies with client’s need. Creative with strong graphic background in GIS, autocad, infographic, plan and data analysis, visualization and presentation. Typical duties include: - 1. Assisting Senior/Project Planner in searching and documenting submission requirements to planning department, building department, technical departments etc. 2. Assisting in preparing detailed development drawings and authorities’ submission drawings from preliminary conceptual drawings. 3. Assisting Project Planner in documenting working drawings with all necessary detailed drawings for submission the relevant parties. 4. Assisting Project Planner in checking detailed layout drawings prepared by Graduate Planner and Planning Assistant for accuracy and consistency with office checklists or other particular necessary matters before proceeding with the final submission to the relevant authorities. 5. Participating in design review and approval meeting with client, fellow consultants, relevant authorities etc. 6. Assisting senior/project planner to draft and to translate freehand conceptual design sketch to presentation, conceptual and detailed drawings. 7. Assisting in the coordination of all documents produced by Planning Assistant and others consultants.
