We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 5+ years of expertise in Oracle, SQL, and Data Migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing database systems while ensuring high performance, security, and availability. This role requires strong knowledge of database administration, data migration strategies, and troubleshooting across Oracle and SQL environments. Key Responsibilities: Database Administration: Manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle and SQL Server databases for performance, scalability, and reliability. Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database, SQL Server, and related components. Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration strategies between different database environments, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Backup & Recovery: Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions. Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database performance. Security & Compliance: Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with industry standards. Automation & Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools using PL/SQL, T-SQL, Shell Scripting, or Python to improve database administration. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support, troubleshoot database issues, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams. Upgrades & Patching: Plan and implement database upgrades, patching, and migrations as needed. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c) and SQL Server Administration. Strong expertise in data migration across different databases, including ETL processes and data transformation. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database scripting. Hands-on experience with Oracle RMAN, Data Pump, SQL Server SSIS, and replication techniques. Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Oracle Cloud) is a plus. Strong understanding of database security, role management, and encryption techniques. Experience in high-availability architectures such as clustering, failover, and replication. Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments for database administration.
