Mixer Truck Driver

Job work environment : Based at Bintulu Job Purpose: Deliver concrete batch to correct site. Responsible to/Report to: Production / Plant Executive Key Responsibilities: 1. Understand the capacity of the mixer truck (the drum size, the drum loading capacity, the maximum batching capacity) 2. Understand the function and the use of the air compressor for smooth compressed air generation and use 3. Understand the safe use of truck drum, proper management of concrete mix functions and concrete discharging process 4. Understand the function of dashboard indicators and signals for abnormality and malfunction of parts 5. To ensure daily preventive maintenance checks are done and recorded in checklist for future reference before the start of every production day 6. Proper greasing of all moving parts of the mixer truck 7. Check and ensure all oil levels (engine oil, break fuel oil, hydraulics oil etc) are at the required level on a daily basis 8. Ensure the concrete receiving hopper is clean for smooth loading of concrete 9. Ensure truck drums are free from hardened concrete at all time 10. Ensure the truck is cleaned daily after work (namely the wheels, chassis & hydraulic moving parts) 11. Ensure on time delivery of concrete to sites 12. Ensure the access roads are safe for driving prior to entering concrete discharge points or locations 13. Ensure DO’s are stamped & signed after concrete is delivered 14. To fill up Daily truck checklist after routine inspection 15. To record dairy diesel consumption for monthly usage tracking and per m3 usage calculation Job Requirements: 1) SPM or equivalent 2) Minimum 2 years working experience in operating a mixer truck 3) Good communication & interpersonal skills 4) MUST Valid class E driving license with GDL
