The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role focuses on expanding the market presence of SmartB’s products by generating leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation and Prospecting- Identify and qualify potential business opportunities by researching market trends, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients for SmartB’s products.
- Reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events.
2. Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing them with product information, answering queries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Sales) to ensure client requirements are met and to align strategies.
3. Sales and Negotiation- Develop and present compelling proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of SmartB’s products.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
- Close sales deals, meet or exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
4. Market Research and Analysis- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Conduct market research to gather insights on potential clients, market demand, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on market needs and trends to guide product development and marketing strategies.
5. Strategic Planning- Contribute to the development and execution of business development strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and client segments for SmartB’s products.
- Work closely with the management team to set sales targets, forecast revenue, and develop action plans to achieve business goals.
6. Reporting and Documentation- Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including lead generation, client interactions, sales progress, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Use CRM software to manage client relationships and track sales activities.

- SPM Result: A for Maths (or equivalent)
- Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in technology and staying abreast of the latest industry trends
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Mandarin speaking is a bonus
