Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Identify and qualify potential business opportunities by researching market trends, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients for SmartB’s products.
- Reach out to potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing them with product information, answering queries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Sales) to ensure client requirements are met and to align strategies.
Sales and Negotiation
- Develop and present compelling proposals to potential clients, highlighting the value and benefits of SmartB’s products.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
- Close sales deals, meet or exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
Market Research and Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Conduct market research to gather insights on potential clients, market demand, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on market needs and trends to guide product development and marketing strategies.
Strategic Planning
- Contribute to the development and execution of business development strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify and prioritize target markets and client segments for SmartB’s products.
- Work closely with the management team to set sales targets, forecast revenue, and develop action plans to achieve business goals.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including lead generation, client interactions, sales progress, and contract negotiations.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and results, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Use CRM software to manage client relationships and track sales activities.

BACKGROUND / QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent graduate with a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields
- Min of CGPA 3.2
- SPM Result: A for Maths (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Additional language is preferred
- A keen interest in technology and staying abreast of the latest industry trends
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
