LECTURER, MATA PELAJARAN UMUM (MPU)

Communication and liaise with students, lecturers and management to make sure all students’ academic progress and lecturers’ teachings develop effectively. Responsibilities o To conduct curriculum and program evaluations on a continual basis using continuous process improvements techniques o To give lectures for respective subjects within the program o To cross – teach with other programs if services are needed o To coordinate tutorial sessions for students o To prepare “table of specification” for examination questions o To formulate exam questions o To moderate questions papers prepared by lecturers before submission to Exam Department o To mark students’ answer scripts o To be a member of Subject Specialist Group (SSG) o To check and sign students’ log books achievement each semester after placement o To compile exam marks and submit to Exam Unit o To conduct mentor-mentee system o To monitor students attendance and absenteeism o To check students’ excuse form o To assist in student affair matters (discipline, attitude and moral) o To maintain a neat, well-organized and safe work environment o To monitor students’ involvement with extracurricular programs o To undertake any reasonable ad hoc assignments as may be directed by the immediate superior from time to time o Monitor students’ academic progress o Be a member of curriculum development committee
