Job Responsibilities: o Provide technical support for customers using our accounting software via phone, email, chat and onsite. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, data integrity, and performance. o Assist customers with software installations, configurations, and updates. o Manage and execute the upgrade process for customer accounting software when new versions are released. o Ensure minimal disruption to customer operations during the upgrade process. o Conduct training sessions for new customers to onboard them with our accounting software. o Format and set up PCs and other computer hardware as needed. o Provide technical assistance for computer hardware and software issues. o Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions. o Develop and update support documentation and knowledge base articles. Qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. o Proven experience in supporting accounting software, eg. Autocount and SQL o Experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting software issues. o Familiarity with software upgrade processes and best practices. o Experience in conducting customer training sessions. o Proficiency in formatting PCs and setting up computer hardware. o Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications. o Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
