Quality Assurance & Compliance - Ensure all mechanical components and processes comply with AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001, and customer-specific aerospace requirements. - Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA) for mechanical failures or non-conformances. - Work closely with the quality control team to establish testing and inspection procedures. 4. Equipment & Tooling Design - Design and improve tooling, jigs, and fixtures to enhance production efficiency and accuracy. - Work with maintenance teams to ensure proper calibration and functionality of mechanical equipment. - Evaluate new technologies for automation and process improvement. 5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize processes and reduce defects. - Research and integrate new materials, coatings, and mechanical innovations into fastener designs. - Stay updated on the latest aerospace engineering trends and regulatory changes.
