Job description Job Position: Skincare Specialist & Massage Therapist Roles & Responsibilities: As a Skincare Specialist & Massage Therapist, your role is to provide professional skin treatments and therapeutic massage services to enhance clients’ appearance, relaxation, and overall well-being. You will assess individual client needs, recommend suitable treatments, and ensure a high standard of care and customer satisfaction. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Skincare Treatments & Facial Therapy • Assess clients’ skin conditions and recommend suitable skincare treatments. • Perform facials, cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration treatments. • Provide specialized treatments such as anti-aging, acne, or skin brightening therapies. • Conduct facial massages to promote circulation and skin rejuvenation. • Recommend skincare products for home care and educate clients on proper skincare routines. 2. Massage Therapy & Body Treatments • Perform different types of massage therapy, including: • Swedish massage (relaxation) • Deep tissue massage (muscle relief) • Aromatherapy massage (essential oils for stress relief) • Hot stone massage (pain relief and relaxation) • Apply body treatments like scrubs, wraps, and hydration therapies. • Customize massage techniques based on clients’ needs, such as pain relief, relaxation, or skin improvement. 3. Client Consultation & Personalized Treatment Plans • Conduct consultations to understand clients’ skincare concerns and physical wellness goals. • Recommend personalized treatment plans for skincare and massage therapy. • Maintain detailed client records, tracking progress and preferences. 4. Hygiene, Safety & Equipment Maintenance • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in treatment areas, tools, and equipment. • Follow safety protocols to prevent infections, allergies, or adverse reactions. • Ensure all skincare and massage products are of high quality and safe for use. 5. Customer Service & Client Retention • Provide a relaxing and professional environment to enhance client satisfaction. • Educate clients about self-care techniques for better skin and muscle health. • Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and referrals. 6. Staying Updated with Industry Trends • Keep up with the latest skincare treatments and massage therapy techniques. • Attend professional workshops, certifications, and training programs. • Introduce new therapies or treatments to enhance service offerings. Here are their key roles: Beautician’s Roles 1.Skincare Treatments – Providing facials, exfoliation, and other skincare services to improve customer skin health. 2.Hair Removal – Performing waxing, threading, or laser hair removal treatments. 3.Advising Clients – Recommending beauty products and skincare routines tailored to individual needs. 4.Hygiene & Safety – Ensuring all tools and workspaces are sanitized to prevent infections. 5.Customer Service – Building client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction. Massage Therapist’s Roles 1.Relieving Muscle Tension & Pain – Using different massage techniques to help with stress, injuries, and chronic pain. 2.Promoting Relaxation & Stress Relief – Reducing mental and physical stress through massage therapy. 3.Improving Blood Circulation – Stimulating blood flow to enhance overall health and healing. 4.Enhancing Flexibility & Mobility – Helping clients maintain joint and muscle health. 5.Providing Posture & Wellness Advice – Educating clients on body mechanics and self-care techniques. 6.Customizing Treatments – Tailoring massages to individual client needs, whether therapeutic, sports-related, or for relaxation. 7.Ensuring a Safe & Professional Environment – Following hygiene and ethical standards to ensure client comfort and safety. Both professions require a deep understanding of human anatomy, hygiene, and customer interaction to ensure clients receive the best care. 1.Hit min sales of RM5k per month. 2.Fill up admin works, etc : KPI, Sales report 3.Keep connection with customer on a monthly basis 4.Consistent sales comitment of min RM5k per month with growth each month 5.Make sure the shop is in clean state at all times & all tool & equipment is clean & sanitised well 6.Able to perform task given by company within a certain period of time with tight deadlines. 7.Able to call customer regarding their skin care product & update their feedback to management 8.Able to work independantly 9.Able to participate on all event organise by the company 10.Understand company core value and perform outstanding works at all times 11.Keep follow Up & get feedback from customer on how to improve better each time 12.Fast learner and a team player 13.To commit in learning & keep growing mindset 14.To be responsible and give best efforts on what she or he is doing 15.To co-operate and share knowledge and info beneficial to the company business and product 16.To treat all customer with utmost good care & help with explainations of customer enquiry 17.To know company procedure for closing and document flow 18.Be resouceful & know your competitor and what they are doing, evaluate our product with them 19.Always think of how to add value to your service and to company growth 20.Be Committed and perform at your utmost ability
