Responsibilities:
- Develop and establish product packaging standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for machinery and production operations.
- Lead the design and optimization of engineering processes, troubleshooting and resolving complex process issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, R&D, and other departments to drive process improvements and resolve production challenges.
- Author technical documentation, SOPs, and work instructions related to machinery, operations, and process control.
- Monitor and analyze production workflows to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational efficiency.
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct in-depth studies on existing production flows and recommend strategic improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Establish and refine SOPs and operational instructions to ensure critical processes and control points are properly managed and consistently followed.
- Lead operator training and competency development programs, including maintenance of training centers, continuous upskilling, and execution of skill matrix assessments.
- Oversee Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation and ensure accurate cost estimations are delivered on time.
- Conduct cycle time studies and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes and maximize throughput.
- Provide leadership in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Act as a key advisor to management, aligning process engineering strategies with overall organizational goals.
- Perform other high-impact tasks as assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related fields).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead complex process improvement projects.
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and developing operators and engineers in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with SOP development, technical writing, and process standardization.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
