  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist with a strong Quantity Surveyor background to join our team in Penang. If you have experience in sourcing, procurement, and cost management, this is your chance to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage sourcing activities for materials, services, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, etc.) to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, and terms.
  • Monitor market trends and identify potential suppliers or vendors to meet business needs.
  • Analyze cost data and assist with budget forecasting.
  • Manage supplier performance and ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
  • Review and evaluate project specifications, ensuring all sourcing aligns with project requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to sourcing and procurement activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or cost management.
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation, budget management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
