Job Description
Early Childhood Special Education Teachers work with children who have developmental difficulties such as speech and vision problems, limited motor skills, sensory-processing difficulties, or special learning challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ learning challenges and revise individual education plans to match each child’s functional capacity.
  • Provide a structured learning environment incorporating fun activities for children with sensory-processing challenges, cognitive function difficulties, and movement and coordination problems to prepare them for school readiness.
  • Teach children with similar learning difficulties in a group setting so they can progress together and learn from each other.
  • Carry out responsibilities using standard techniques such as modeling, instruction, imitation, repetition, and step-by-step problem solving.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure educational goals are appropriate and that the student is making progress.
  • Assist children who need help with motor skills and self-help skills, including toilet training.
  • Attend to children's basic needs by feeding, dressing, bathing, or changing their diapers, with the aim of teaching them self-care abilities.
  • Prepare teaching materials.
  • Prepare weekly reports to update parents on their child’s progress.
  • Always ensure a safe and clean environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development, business development, and peer-sharing sessions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,710.00 - RM3,110.10 per month
