Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy ICT Teacher & IT Support Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role involves teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to students across various levels and providing essential IT support to staff and students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital education, skilled in troubleshooting technology issues, and committed to fostering digital literacy in a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs an ICT Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the curriculum (e.g., Cambridge ICT Starters, IGCSE ICT, or national standards).
  • Teach students about computing fundamentals, digital tools, internet safety, coding, and practical software skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
  • Foster digital literacy, problem-solving, and creativity through interactive, project-based learning.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and reports as required.
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe computer lab/classroom.
  • Promote responsible use of technology and online safety in line with school policies.

As IT Support:

  • Provide first-line technical support to teachers, staff, and students (hardware, software, network, and printer issues).
  • Set up and maintain school IT infrastructure, including computers, projectors, interactive boards, printers, and networks.
  • Install and update software, perform basic repairs.
  • Manage user accounts, emails, and school devices (including tablets or laptops).
  • Support technology use during school events, presentations, or exams.
  • Ensure data security, perform routine system checks, and support school compliance with ICT-related policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,734.57 - RM3,047.51 per month
