Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies across the region
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all facilities and assets
Support and guide the team to implement FM Operations for new and existing sites
Manage and provide a 5-10 years capital asset plan including budgeting, planning, and execution
Collaborate with local facility managers to ensure consistent maintenance practices and standards
Analyze asset performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers
Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to facility management and safety
Lead and mentor a team of reliability engineers and technicians across the region
Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, and project status to senior management
Continuously improve maintenance processes and implement best practices across the portfolio
This position is a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of facilities and assets across a large geographic area, requiring a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking.
Strategic Role: The position involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies across a portfolio of facilities in East Asia, suggesting a high-level, regional management position.
Technical Expertise: The role requires deep knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and asset performance analysis.
Project Management: There's a significant focus on managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including budgeting, planning, and execution.
Leadership: The position involves leading and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians, as well as collaborating with local/regional stakeholders.
Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key vendors and service providers is an important aspect of the role.
Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies related to facility management and safety is a key responsibility.
Data Analysis and Reporting: The role involves analyzing asset performance data to identify improvements and cost savings, as well as preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: There's an emphasis on ongoing process improvement and implementation of best practices across the portfolio.
Travel Requirements:
This position requires regular travel throughout the East Asia region to visit and assess various facilities within the portfolio.
The candidate must be willing and able to travel on short notice, including for emergencies that may arise at any of the managed properties.
