Internship for R&D Chemist

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas: Develop various paints, coatings and other simple products. Mix compounds which do not react to attain a mixture with desired characteristics based on the provided formulation. Request and manage materials from supplier to produce prototype formulation. Prepare advanced samples, materials, equipment and other required tools for laboratory tests or development. Perform comprehensive technical tests, analyses based on formulas and project requirements; tasks that require technical judgement. Review and/or complete appropriate forms and documentation regarding research and development processes, tasks, results, and conclusions. Draw conclusions and receive direction when required. Perform specialised or complex calculations to prepare, perform, and conclude tests and analyses. Clean, maintain and calibrate all equipment and maintain a safe working environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science & Technology or equivalent.
