  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Malaysian Die-Casting Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality control methodologies and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Introduction (NPI) & Process Control: Collaborate with the new product/project introduction team and manufacturing to define and implement adequate process controls for new product launches.
  • Quality Issue Management & Feedback: Provide timely feedback to relevant departments on all quality issues. Lead feedback mechanisms to ensure prompt input into process improvements. Follow up on all non-conformance issues, including part disposition and closure.
  • Quality Data Analysis & Corrective Action: Compile and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Implement and monitor effective corrective and preventive actions based on analysis results.
  • In-Process Quality Control: Implement and maintain in-process quality control systems and activities, including SPC, 7 QC Tools, GR&R, and FMEA.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive, support, and monitor continual improvement activities, such as Kaizen.
  • Complaint Management: Follow through on all in-house and customer complaint action plans, ensuring effective implementation. Support the Quality Assurance/Control Head in customer complaint investigations related to the department.
  • Process Audits: Conduct thorough production process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • QC Manpower & Equipment Management: Oversee QC manpower arrangements within the respective department. Oversee the management of QC equipment and apparatus.
  • Production Support: Ensure the QC department provides efficient and effective support to production operations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using quality tools and techniques (SPC, 7 QC Tools, GR&R, FMEA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
