Job Summary
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. You will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Duties
- Maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure that all Accounts Payable (AP) tasks, including credit notes are reviewed and matched accurately, and that invoices and payments are correctly recorded in the system.
- Ensure all Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, including issuing invoices and debit notes, as well as following up on debt collection, are completed efficiently
- Maintain proper filing system for all the AP & AR documents to ensure the accessibility
- Any ad-hoc task delegated by a Finance Manager from time to time
Requirements
- Minimum SPM and Certificate in Accounting;
- Preferably 1 to 2 year relevant working experiences in retail or trading industry
- Experience in Autocount, WPS Office would be an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction processing
- Teamwork, initiative and self-development
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
