  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Telecom Engineer to oversee the Overall Telecom engineering activities for our new FPSO and other Oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate shall have extensive experience in offshore oil and gas projects, particularly in FPSO Telecom design, construction, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead/Involve in Telecom project engineering for FPSO/other projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of engineering deliverables.
  • Involve Conceptual/Basic Engineering design (BED), FEED and Detailed Engineering Studies.
  • Preparation/ Review of Detailed Telecom Specifications & data sheets for Teelcom equipment etc.
  • Conduct/review system studies related to telecom
  • Coordinate /review of the various telecom drawings prepared by the design/drafting team.
  • Participate the related review meetings and lead the Telecom portion.
  • Major Systems involved shall be,
  • Public Address General Alarm(PAGA)
  • Telephony (PABX / Hotline)
  • CCTV
  • Radio systems
  • VSAT
  • Access Control Systems
  • Intrusion detection systems
  • Navigation Aids
  • Weather Monitoring
  • Network Systems (LAN/WAN)
  • Etc.
  • Evaluation of the offers from vendors and review of Vendor drawings.
  • Preparation material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor print review.
  • Conduct site visits for project verification and data gathering.
  • Assist in plant erection, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Relevant Engineering discipline and overall 6+ years’ experience with minimum 4 years in O&G Sector.
  • Familiarity with FPSO-specific requirements, such as marine classification societies (e.g., DNV, ABS).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
