  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Process Engineer to be based in Port Klang.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes in formwork and steel manufacturing.
  • Utilize process simulation software to model and analyze production processes.
  • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams and material balances.
  • Implement process control systems to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
  • Review and develop working instruction and other standard operation procedure.
  • Analyse rejection type, quality issue and improvement activities.
  • Review process flow and motion time study base on value stream mapping.
  • And any other instruction relevant to the job functions that may be given to you from time to time.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar).
  • 5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
  • Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC.
  • Knowledge of process simulation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
  • Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
