We have a great opportunity as a Team Leader (Sales) for an international company originating from Belgium. The company was founded in 1971 and has since grown into a global leader in crane rail solutions. It operates worldwide, including in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, with subsidiaries in multiple countries, including Malaysia. You will be based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor if successful.

Responsibilities:

Highly motivated Team Leader to lead Sales Team.

In charge of order intake and sales of territories assigned to him/her.

Lead, motivate and manage a team of sales to exceed individual and team sales goals.

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share along with company’s expectations.

Responsible to monitor, analyse, update, report CE in Microsoft D365 on weekly basis.

Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to higher management.

Conduct regular sales training and coaching sessions to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in sales and closing orders.

Analyse the client needs and propose technical solutions that meet the client’s requirements, in collaboration with the sales, project managers, FO and the technical department.

Draft/review and comment on the commercial offers including contracts.

Close monitoring, controlling and growing of the profitability in quotations.

Lead negotiation and win opportunities.

Organise and lead pipeline meetings with Sales Team on a regular basis.

Ensure all sales activities are compliant with company policies and procedures

Contribute to the development of new products and services to meet customer needs.

Provide exceptional customer service to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Maintain and develop regular contacts with end user, consultants, main contractor firms, sub-contractors.

Keep contacts with key players on the market to be aware of potential markets opportunities and evolutions.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities

Prepare budget, marketing stints, business plans, to support the growth of the business.

Lead to meet company’s budget, group margin and profitability.

Passion for sales and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Requirements :

Engineering background (mechanical)

Excellent knowledge of English (both written & spoken). Other languages would be an asset.

IT Knowledge of MS Office suite is a must (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Knowledge of CAD & MS Projects is a plus.

Experience working with CE on Microsoft D365 would be a plus.

Negotiation and communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, dynamic and proactive.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

To be ready to travel over 50% of his/her time around SEA, Korea, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.

Engineering degree in mechanical/structural engineering + management courses is an added advantage.

Experience in Service Industry would be a plus.

Ideally 7 to 10 years of direct sales experience in crane related products, marketed to the heavy industrial sector such as primary metals, ports, steel, and automotive industries.

With at least 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.
