What will you do?
The Building Controls Engineer (or Building Control Systems Site Resident Engineer) will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of building management and control systems on-site. This role ensures that M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems function efficiently, meet design specifications, and integrate seamlessly with the overall building automation system.
- Oversee on-site installation and integration of control systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of control systems and related infrastructure to maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between contractors, design teams, and clients, facilitating effective communication and resolving technical issues related to control systems.
- Address and resolve technical challenges that arise during the installation and operation of control systems, ensuring minimal disruption to project progress.
- Maintain detailed records of control system configurations, modifications, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
- Ensure all control system installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols specific to Malaysia's data center operations.

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably within data center environments or similar critical infrastructure projects
- In-depth knowledge of control systems, automation technologies, and data center infrastructure. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used in control system design and implementation
- Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
