
Senior IT Program Manager/Business Consultant
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and executing the transition of IT Operations and services from one of the Local entities in the APAC region to the Regional Delivery Center (RDC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves steering and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive the movement of IT Services which will also involve restructuring of the local resources, ensuring that the Operating Model is ready on the RDC side, to ensure a smooth takeover of IT operations and service delivery. The Senior Program Manager will work closely with local and RDC project teams, including external partners, to ensure a seamless transition by the end of 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Program Steering and Coordination:
- Lead the local Offshore Entities (OE) transformation program, orchestrating activities to deliver the best program solutions while ensuring continuous IT operations.
- Coordinate and guide activities between OEs and RDC to ensure local transformation aligns with global Gearshift Program principles.
2) Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for the transition, including detailed scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Execute the project plan, ensuring all activities are progressing according to schedule and within budget.
3) Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with group and OE senior stakeholders at various levels, from operational to strategic.
- Create a trusted environment through open communication and drive negotiations with strategic partners and Allianz OEs.
4) Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage project-level risks and issues, ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place.
- Escalate significant risks and issues to the Program Manager as needed.
5) Resource Management:
- Coordinate and allocate resources across the project to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
- Mentor and manage project team members, fostering a motivating environment.
6) Financial Management:
- Manage the project budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including forecasting and variance analysis.
7) Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet required quality standards and align with program objectives.
8) Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular updates to the Program Manager and other stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports and other documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of IT supply processes and architectures.
- Proven track record in process and organizational management.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale transformation projects.
- Experience in IT Offshoring/outsourcing projects is advantageous.
- Experience in IT workforce restructuring and operating model transformation is important.
- Past experience of working big 4 consulting background will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of IT Operating Models and integration projects.
- Experience in managing cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
Additional Details:
- Salary Range: Up to RM23,000.00

- Working Hour: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM to 5.30PM
