
Senior Transformation Program Manager
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the transition of IT Operations and services from one of the Local entities in the APAC region to the Regional Delivery Center (RDC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the seamless movement of IT services, including restructuring local resources and preparing the RDC's operating model for a smooth takeover of IT operations and service delivery. The Senior Program Manager will work closely with local and RDC project teams, as well as external partners, to ensure the transition is completed successfully by the end of 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Steering and Coordination:
- Lead the transformation program for local Offshore Entities (OE), driving activities to deliver optimal solutions while maintaining continuous IT operations.
- Coordinate and guide activities between OEs and the RDC to ensure alignment with the global Gearshift Program principles.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop a detailed project plan for the transition, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Execute the project plan, ensuring that all activities stay on schedule and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders at both group and OE levels, from operational to strategic.
- Foster a trusted environment through open communication and drive negotiations with strategic partners and Allianz OEs.
- Risk and Issue Management:
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical risks and issues to the Program Manager as necessary.
- Resource Management:
- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively across the project to ensure optimal utilization.
- Mentor and manage project team members, creating a motivating and productive environment.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee the project budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with program objectives.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular updates to the Program Manager and other stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports and other required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of IT supply processes and architectures.
- Proven experience in process and organizational management.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale transformation projects.
- Experience with IT offshoring/outsourcing projects is a plus.
- Experience in IT workforce restructuring and operating model transformation is crucial.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 consulting background is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of IT Operating Models and integration projects.
- Experience in managing cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.

- Salary Range: Up to RM23,000.00
- Location: Kuala Lumpur
- Job Type: 12-month contract
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
