
Accounting Analyst (Intercompany)
As an Intercompany Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring technical accounting compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, upholding financial and operational internal controls, simplifying processes, and achieving operational excellence. Your role involves delivering precise financial reporting and analysis on intercompany processes. You will be expected to understand accounting concepts, methods, and procedures, as well as ensure the accuracy and integrity of the books and records, especially by reconciling counterparty balances on Due to/from accounts with the general ledger, subledger, and intercompany reports. Additionally, you will resolve any disputes with counterparties.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring journal entries are recorded and business deadlines and requirements are met.
- Work with Intercompany Receivables and Payables invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliation of Intercompany invoices.
- Prepare, post, and generate reports to provide information required for month-end reporting and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve backlog issues to ensure daily tasks are completed on time.
- Provide monthly and quarterly financial data and reviews to internal finance teams and support internal auditing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial support and guidance.
- Support internal and external audit deliverables by reviewing and approving reconciliations, driving the resolution of open items, and managing unreconciled accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach, offering expert advice and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a culturally diverse team.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

- Salary Range: Up to RM6,000.00
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
